Tesco Ireland - Bakery store observations

Consistency and categorisation of the bakery section here. A number of different stores here but one clear theme.

It’s bright, colourful, inviting. And if I’m honest, with good categorisation, it’s made me reappraise Tesco as a destination to buy baked goods and treats, particularly for special occasions. That’s what good category selling does.

✅ It welcomes the shopper
✅ It helps them find the solutions they are looking for in the categories they are shopping in
✅ It also takes the opportunity to introduce them to new solution ideas
✅ It supports with cross category solutions that compliment the mission in mind
✅ It strengthens the store’s appeal as a destination for future requirements in that category.
