Parfetts Links Up With Just Eat

Parfetts, the cash & carry wholesaler, has begun working with Just Eat in a move that will allow more of the former’s Go Local retail club members to offer grocery deliveries.

Trade magazine The Grocer has revealed that the partnership launched this week, with around 50 stores already signed up and more on the way.

Parfetts already has an agreement in place with Snappy Shopper. However, that platform does not provide delivery drivers, which prevents some retailers from tapping into the lucrative home delivery market.

The wholesaler noted that it was working with Just Eat because its large network of drivers and global profile would help smaller retailers compete with the growing number of rapid delivery specialists such as Gopuff and Getir, which service orders from dark stores.
