Costa Coffee trials protein coffees in summer menu update

High-protein lattes will be tested in select stores.

Costa Coffee is introducing new high-protein lattes alongside a classic scone bundle and limited-edition summer merchandise, as the latest additions to its seasonal menu, available starting from 2 July 2026.

Select Costa Coffee stores will trial the new drink, made using Costa Coffee’s signature Mocha Italia and semi-skimmed milk. Each drink contains 23g of protein and is available hot or iced. Customers can also customise their drink with a choice of syrups for an extra touch of sweetness.

Also joining the menu is Costa Coffee’s new scone bundle, featuring a classic All Butter Sultana Scone, served with Bonne Maman Strawberry Conserve and Cornish Dairy Co Clotted Cream, alongside a small or medium handcrafted drink.

The bundle will be available between 11 AM and 5 PM in selected stores nationwide.

Costa Coffee is also launching summer-inspired merchandise, including two brand-new iced cups designed for enjoying chilled drinks on the go. Available in “Mango” and “Dragon Fruit”, each cup comes complete with a straw, a straw cover, and a ribbed sleeve.
